pinging on 10:1 compression b18b with 7 psi. what can i do about it?
well i have no idea why this pings like crazy after 5k rpms but it i have rc 310s and the crower 402ts installed. i am running a 255 lph fuel pump. i have a big *** intecooler from the turbo kit from rev hard. this is especially on 7 psi. is revhard any good? how can i prevent pinging? i know the timing is 16 degrees btdc. what should i set it at? how can i set it without msd?

its deff your spark plugs. thats not alot of boost and "stock gap" plugs will deff cause pinging. Run the ever so common NGK BCPR7ES-11 plugs and gap them at .032"
Wait, you dont have any fuel mods accept for a fuel pressure riser? Did you install the vortech FMU that came with the kit? If you dont have anything that can add fuel I would gett something that can add more fuel. I would also run a higher octane fuel and retard the timming so you dont blow up your motor.

edit ok I thought you said fuel pressure riser, sorry. You might want to try a differnt disc that adds more fuel or bumps pressure so that fuel is added.

88 crx, b18 cable tranny ls with crower 403 cams, stainless steel 1mm oversized valves, head milled 40 thousanths, approximately 10:1 compression ratio, walbro 190 fuel pump, integra cluster conversion... going turbo in about 1 month
your head is milled so your timing is off. retard the base timing for now to be safe like the others have suggested. colder plugs . gapped to like .030 until you have a better form of engine management.
