Default Navigation an option in Japan?

I was looking at the japan honda website. It seemed there was an option to get Navigation in the S2000. I do understand most people here would not want it but a few might (like me). Any reason why we don't have it besides US getting jipped like usual.

Because driving in urban japan is a saturated clusterfuck and Navi helps filter out the bullshit.

i can get this navi setup through my work, a 7 inch kenwood in dash touch screen lcd dvd/cd player w/ am/fm tuner. something like 50 watts per channel. normal price is 1600, i get it for 816...and then the navigation option for it is another 800 or so
so about 1600 for a kick *** aftermarket stereo/dvd player/navigation....good thing i work @ best buy

i work at circuit city and can get the alpine set up cheap...one problem, you have to find a shop to custom mold and cut your dash. that gets very expensive. a local s2k owner did and in the end it cost him 7k for labor with materials..i can't afford that for navi

it's a japanese thing, can't get it in the US from the dealer, like others have said, you can get aftermarket or get the system from the odyssey or other honda and modify it to fit in the s2000.

the JDM nav screen is tilted toward the driver on the right side.

there is no left facing screen.
