Hood Latch CABLE stretched to $hit. Anyone use an alternative way of opening the hood?
I was going to go with some hood locks for security as well. But... since they are not to be used as the only things holding the hood I need to get a new cable at least. Has anyone ever used some other "non stretching" material?

?? it's a metal braid..? just get a new one from the dealer and install it.. should last for a really long time before you would ever have to replace it again.. longer than the car will last i'm guessing..
