I was wondering the same thing...

There have been a lot of "stone mountain racing" turbos on ebay lately. I thought that ss autochrome sold them...

The auction you have posted doesn't say anything about stone mountain racing...? I thought it said the turbo was garrett?

Anyways, it will be interesting to find out if anyone has experience with these turbos they seem to be cheaper than other brands.

The turbos and manifolds you see on Ebay including the ones mentioned above are imported from Taiwan. The companies selling them are not the manufacturers. Whether the quality is acceptable, I'll leave that up to those who have tried them.

oh contraire, locally there are numerous people i talk to that run this turbo, including myself as of 3 days ago. No one i have talked to, and this includes people i emailed thru Ebay that have purchased this turbo before, have had any problems that they would not have had with any other turbo (ie bad install, incorrrect connection for oil or some retarded ****). Im runnin this turbo now with about 9psi on a Revhard mani and it runs incredible. A buddy of mine with an Si has had it for a loong time and has had no problems, for the price, u cant go wrong.

I'm running their t3/to4e turbo along with their manifold. I would say the quality of the turbo itself isn't that great, but it does do the job. Had it for on the car for about 2 months with no problems.

Btw, for people who runs their turbo, when does your's kick in? 4000rpms?
