Default DPFI to MPFI, using the si engine harness and repinning ?

has anyone used the si engine harness and then repinned the wires where the harness plugs into the car harness by the firewall? is there a reason this can't be done?

From what all those guides say, its a lot more work to be done. If you just use the DX you only add a few wires. Not hard to do.

It's a PITA and not worth the effort. It's just not repinning. You would have to run wires on your underdash harness to accomodate the OTHER firewall plug that is located on the driver side of the car. DX's don't have that one at all.

If you take your time and convert the DX harness then you can make it look just like it was OEM. No real point in wasting time on the Si harness.

you mean take the MPFI harness and put the mpfi pins into the shock tower plugs? then use the stock b series or d16a6 motor harness to plug into it? if that what you mean, thats how i do my vtec swaps. i take the pins out of an old harness and plug them into the clips, then vtec motor harness is plug and play.
