Almost crashed the crx!! need some tire recomendations
There is weekly meets by me in Maryland. The place is in a nice park with sharp turns and such...well no one really rips thru the turns until they leave. I was behind a street bike and we entered basically a U turn...we hit it at about 40-45mph...i was hitting it clean with all my sus. mods, but then i got a little close to the bike and instead of lettting off the gas i tapped the brakes and her starts to come my *** end from the driver side left, i quickly tapped the gas and counter steered almost going into the hill countered steered again saving it....
be careful, i never thought i'd almost spin out in a turn, brake before the turn, accl. thu
anyone ever have this experince? and BTW im hating my gay kumhos now...any recommendations on nice sticky tires?

i have that experience every weekend................at autocross events
. that is not a tire problem. that is a driver imput problem. dont lift/brake mid corner. "stickey" tires will just make it worse because when they do loose grip you will be going faster than you would be with what ever tire you use now.
take your need for speed to an autocross or track day and learn how to not whad your car up.

Falken Azenis
I have used Azenis on both my 15" and 14" wheels and I have nothing but good things to say about these tires.

buy these! they are cheap and sticky. they will last the summer and then its time for a new pair, but since they cost half the amount of the other performance tires...you can buy twice as many.
if you have camber issues these tires will go alot faster...talking weeks here.

i agree man.. not a tire issue IMO. and i would be cautious with stickier tires, cause you will loose some wet traction, and if this is a daily driver, if you are going hard in the rain, those tires aren't gonna be the greatest.

autocross wont hurt your pritty crx anymore than if you had stuffed it into the mountain. the only thing to hit at autocross are rubber cones.
first of all you should not have been going that fast on regular road that a mid-corner lift/brake would make the car come around. there realy is no way to slow the car safely when its fully loaded mid-corner.
