bearings
not really any point to this post, thought u guys might get a kick out of this. i did anyways...
my friend jerrys new honda bearing w/ 50 miles on it. he built up a sohc w/ zc pistons, arp rod bolts, shot peened the rods, ya know, the basic high comp build. some of you might remember, he comes on here every now and again. has a red wagon. but on to the pics...

i dont remember exactly what happened, but he said it ran good until it ran out of oil and blew smoke one they highway. all the thrust washes were twisted out of control too. crank is all black and the middle rods are black too. pretty cool looking, when i took apart the engine.

summer project
summer project
old torque wrench...wasn't calibrated, everything was over torqued, and around the 100 mile mark driving down the highway every single bearing spun. it was fun for the two days it lasted though.
i know how it is,i spun a bearing in an old integra i used to have and replaced the bearings and they spun too.this was before i learned about motors and repairing them...good luck with your motor, hope it works out for you
