Has anyone in NYC area had their silver '00-'03 S2000 stolen recently?

While doing working in East New York (hood, Brooklyn) I saw the car w/o front-end sheet metal, parked on the side street. This was yesterday afternoon.
No plates, but the registration and inspection windshield stickers looked as tho it was registered in NY.

The bad new? I was a passanger in a car when I saw this, and I don't exactly know what street it was on, but if I had to guess, I would say in the 90's along the L-subway line, where ENY borders Canarsie.

The good? Wheels and engine (saw the valve cover) were still there.

I hope it's no one here. I hate thiefs.

 

HT member "shamoo" had his '00 Sebring Silver S2K stolen last year. He lives in New Jersey.

Yeah mang, it's not me. My situation was was huge fiasco with Honda Finance and some felony incident.

I did get the notice that it was auctioned off about a month or so ago. Now I'm fighting with Honda Finance because they still want their money.

I assume that the car I've seen was stolen before or during the weekend. It really did not look too bad, that's why I posted.
All that seemed to have been missing was front-end sheet metal.
Maybe someone should post this on S2Ki.
