What's up cats. My name is Chris and I drive an 01 Camaro SS gert' durn' and I was thinking about trading it in for an S2000. I went to the Honda dealership today and sat inside one, drove it around town and talked prices with the dealer. Said he'd give me an 08 White?(Don't know the exact color name) for 28.5 with around 1200 miles on the car. I guess to the point of the title..

Does your S2000 have sex appeal? In other words, do females like the car? Do they like riding in it? Do they think it's cute?

I know the responses that I'm going to get are going to be around the lines of either, " USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION! " or, " Hey! You're supposed to buy the car for you! " I just want an honest response to a seemingly naive and childish thread please!

I personally think this car lowered with a good set of wheels would look amaaaaazinnggg. But yeah, seriously, drove the car, effing loved everything about it.. Throw me some feedback..

the s2k does have sex appeal. as long as the chic is not fat, cuz then she won't fit inside the car and i know you camaro-driving-guys like'em short and THICK, so i'm not sure how that will play out for you...

 

Haha, would seem that way wouldn't it? Well, I'm actually a pretty skinny guy, I'm about 5'10" 155 pounds so when I get in the S2000 it just feels right to me. At first I was a little skeptical because the car looks somewhat 'tiny' from the outside but revealed to be rather spacious once I got in and drove it. Feels tight like an import should and I miss that feeling. Going straights fun for a while, but that car handles like a Caddy. I've just dropped so much money in the Turdmaro I don't know if I would get used to the horsepower difference. I think I'm trying to reform myself, rather then going fast in a generic car that looks like a dart I'd rather drive something that doesn't scream loud n' proud. Because a Camaro IS what it is, a Camaro. The S2000 just looks sophisticated and there's not too many of them around here and I think I'd enjoy it! Gas mileage would be a hell of a plus too.

 

It does have a sex appeal to it. It actually pisses some guys off when you pull up at the light and their girl look over at your car. But all that aside its a fun car to drive.

 

Haha, that's great. If only I could have the S2000 with the L92 in my Camaro in it that would be perfect, best of both worlds.

Yeah, the white really set it off for me. I'm probably immediately going to add a carbon fiber hood/trunk to the car, and remove the wing, drop it a few inches, get some nice black volks with a polished lip I've been looking at.. Only problem is I really want the hardtop and it's like 2500$ dollars or more OEM from Honda.. So that's going to set me back a good bit if I do decide to get it.. Or does riding with the top down in the car make the experience that much better?

Top down is 10x better! Not a fan of polished lip and carbon fiber though.

Yes, girls really like my S2000. Who said females like the S2000 as much as a civic? Wrong.

I have a civic and an S2000. My GF and other women are definately more wet when I drive the S2000.

However, I don't know how happy you will be with the S2000 coming from a Camaro.

They're two very different cars that do VERY different things. Could you get used to the change?

 

i know my GF prefers my integra over the s2000...i think it has something to do with it's faster and has more room i dunno

that's pretty harsh...there is a good amount of girls who class type you right off the bat dependent on your car...

Trust me, I have a beater H22 accord that blows the doors off my civic, but when a girl pulls up next to a light, it's harder to get their number...

then when I'm in my civic, I roll down my power window, then hit the sunroof with just a lil bit of that gansta rap on, slowly look over, and smirk...

It's SOOO much easier to pull a number in my civic...

Then again, I rarely try to get numbers when I cruisin, usually it's when I'm at the club...

But girls would much rather me pick them up at the door in my civic...
