16g tdo6h how much can it handle?

Default 18g tdo5h how much can it handle?

i got the 18g tdo5h turbo and I wanted to know how much I can push this?

there are guys in the dsm world running 11's on that turbo....Its a good turbo, and will make a decent amount of power...Definetly 350ish i would say, my friend runs that turbo on his dsm and he pushes 21-25psi and it pulls strong

Are you *sure* it is a TDO6H 16g? If it's a TDO6H, I would be inclinded to think it has an 18g wheel.

Either way, you're talking 34 lb/min maximum flow rating, at the least. That means over 300 whp, no problem.

Wait. I suggested one or the other, not both. TDO5H 18g is also possible though.

The 18g wheel is capable of almost 400 crank horsepower, approximately.

yes i finally took it off the car and looked at the greddy tag...I can barely read but it said tdo5h 18g. So it possible to push it 400hp?

Yes. The 18g wheel can flow enough air to make around 400 crank horsepower.

I don't have a compressor map handy, so I'm afraid I can't be any more specific than that.

I'm glad you asked this question because I was wondering the same thing. I'll be running my greddy kit with an 84mm b16 block and 9:1 compression. I just wanted to be over 300whp when I'm done. Gotta love A/C.
