Minor Details
Hey, I'm new here with basically zero experience with cars. I'm writing a novel, very car based, and I want it to be as accurate as possible but that's out of my league. So I'm looking for any advice on souping up a Civic, prefferably something in the years 88-91. I want fast and no there's no limit on $$. So... basically, if you had unlimited $$ to soup up a civic (keeping in mind it has to be street legal), how would you do it? What parts, how (just the basics or minor details here) would you install them, how fast would it be, how long would it take... etc. Any help would be great! Thanks every one.
Motor swap, rebuild, billet rods, forged pistons with ceramic coating, ported heads with polished exaust ports and ceramic coated combustion chamber, ceramic coated exaust valves (to avoid detonation from exaust heat), single or twin turbo (hmm), intercooler obviously - with as few tubing bends as possible...
If you are looking for big power you want to have the block sonic checked and magnafluxed. You are likely going to be hand picking a block from several, especially when talking overbore.
Litterally it would be a novel just writing all the parts down and then actually telling someone how to assemble it. I think you should just set aside the next year to research this like a regular novelist would

'91 Si with a JDM SiR front end conversion, JDM tails, and JDM lights.
New interior, nice Recaro seats.. the list could go on, and on.
Definatley upgraded suspension, tokico struts, neuspeed springs... Oh, mugen wheels and a mugen cat back exhaust, too
