stuck sparkplug
this is my first post so please bare with me and with my newness.
the sparkplug in my 1991 civic LX #1 cylinder is (i think) welded in. it turns about 1/2 turn then stops. the tune-up guy pushed so hard that i thought he was going to break a motor mount! you could see the motor turning in it's area.
what i think has happened is my grand father sold me the car and to fixup the car to sell it he put "any old" style plug in it and put too long a thread plug in. the extra threads have warped from the heat and have "welded" the plug in. The plug is wearing out fast. a good 70K miles on it.
i dont mean to ramble on
What can i do?

If it is truly welded in there, couldn't the head be removed and it is attacked from both sides with something like an industrial drill press or the likes of that?
Well, If I was you. I would put a breaker bar on there and try and get it off. It might just be that since there is 70k on them that the carb and all the other crap could have gotten it stuck in there. Srpay some lube in there and let it sit then try it again.
