Default F22B1 Timing belt question..!?!?

Ive got a 1994 accord coupe, 4cyl vtec, manual.
Just did my valve adjustment..The problem is that my timing belt is loose..and the balancer shaft too..(checked that one pretty fast since i didnt take the lower cover off) On the middle of the timing belt, on the firewall side (right) i have about 1" of slack (moving from left to right) When i checked it about 40 000km ago (now im at 209 000km) it was alot tighter..
I wanted to adjust the tension of both with the adjusting nut (locater just on top of the crankshaft pulley) but the nut is really stuck.. its supposed to be torqued at 33lb/ft .. i manage to fit a 14 mm box on a 3/8 drive prybar + a 1 foot long steel tube for more torque.. i cant seem to move it neither..
Now i didnt try lube on the bolt yet, im wondering if i can break/f* up something in there!? Any trick!? Please im scared to drive my car with so much slack on the belts!!

Thanks!!

I would be on the safe side and take off the covers to get to the tensioner. Loosen the tensioner and pull it to make it tight. That is the only thing I can tell you to do just to be on the safe side. It will save you alot of money. It can bend your valves and alot of other expensive s#*t.

That damn bolt can be a bitch sometimes. I have rounded them off with a Snap-On box wrench. Be prepared to replace the bolt cuz I have broken them off too. pm if you have questions.

Well i found a good solution to loosen it..
First off i shooted alot of lube on it
I took off the power steering pump, strap, (had to replace them) so it gave me ALOT of space.. I fitted a 6 side 14mm box with a little 3/8" drive powerbar hehe.. + a little 1' long tube, it craked and loosed in an instant
I got that b*tch!!

Nothing like succeeding a job in mechanics
