quiestion about door hinges?

Default quiestion about door hinges?

my door on my 93 civic hangs down about half an inch and i can lift if up and down. somebody said i need knew hinges. does anyone know what i should do? can i just tighted them or something and if not then where can i buy new hinges? thanks to anyone who can help

sounds like they just need to be adjusted... there are 4bolts that hold the door on and one pin see if any of them are loose and then try to adjust it from there

hahaha you live in Aruburn... where at?? I just moved from Aubrun to Oklahoma...

dang its been awhile since ive been here...sorry. i live down by dick scobee elementry and cascade middle school, what school did you go to? oh and thanks for the info on the door hinges ill c what i can do.

hahaha......dick scobee......hahaha

I have also read that the hinges can "sag", but I dont
see how, or what part would go bad. There is quite
a bit of adjustment in the hinges, but dont thake
the door all the way off. Its a huge pain to get it back
on, and most importantly straight.

i never looked but always thought that the hinges were welded on. so when someone said i need new ones i didnt see how i would accomplish that. oh and how do i tighten the pins or what ever cause i was looking at it and it looks like the holes where the pins go through are just to big for the pins or the pins are too small.

you just set them in there and get a rubber mallet and hit them through.. they will eventually stop..

and I went to Thomas Jefferson... I lived right down the road from Kilo Jr High...
