oversized valves and cam Q
im sure omni or rocket knows the answer to this one, im running .5 oversized ferreas on my p30 head, looking for biggest/longest cam i can run without hurting valves. and hopefully also compatible with my toda valvesprings, if not these can be swapped out as well. or are there better cams to be run with appropriate cam tweaking.
other info, 84 mm b20, stock length rod and stroke, 12.5:1 shelf je's on eagle rods. currently running a toda b int and itr exh cam now. approx 30,000kms to date.
TIA, garett

well it also depends upon what cam gears you have
you can change the cam gears to have a big cam fit but it wont make the most power
maybe some engine builders know if there is a way to test valve to valve clearance without actually having the cams in the head
im going to guess that skunk2 stage 1 cams should be fine
it would suck to bend valves, better be careful
and also if your springs float, you are likely to have valve to valve clearance, so its better to play it safe and not push the clearances too close
