AEBS Intake Manifold for 2000 B16
i tried to search, but didnt get the info i was looking for...
Will the manifold bolt directly onto my 2000 B16 with the B16 fuel rail, TB, and IACV? or do I need to get something else? Cause a friend of mine bought a AEBS manifold for a 1st gen B16, the fuel rail didnt fit right, and the TB didnt either....the TB bolted up to the manifold, but the bracket for the throttle cable was in the way

i used a 2000 b16 head on ls/vtec and had no problems, b16 throttle body bolted up and so did the fuel rail.... you just have to remove those black plastic spacers.
The AEBS manifold was designed for the US 93-00 B16. That's why the 1st gen pre-OBD B16 has trouble. The DelSol and Civic B16s should have no real obstacles like the old B16.

what trouble will i run in to if i have a 90 b16 head on my 96 ls using the aebs

since this was dug up.. this is the exact answer to this thread!

i mounted a AEBS mani on my 1st gen manifold.
the TB i used a ITR one so no issues there, the fuel rail is a different story. on the 1st gen the FPR will hit the IAT sensor on that manifold, so to do it right u gotta get a different rail, that located the FPR at the very end. and then get the spacers setup for it.

a few pics for comparison...

this is the correct fuel rail on this one, notice the FPR at the end...

ITR TB Vs 1st gen b16

i dont see any difference really in bolt locations..
if u look at the FPR in this pic, it would obviously be blocking the IAT on the ITR and AEBS manifolds.

other than this maybe a little trickery for vaccum routing on a EF (MAP is mounted on the firewall) and everything is easy!

A 2nd gen B16 fuel rail will work fine...

i actually used a ITR fuel rail, but whatever. any fuel rail other than obd0 will work
