Default Who has the highest N/A streetcar dyno plot?

Just curious to see who is making what kind of power on the streets these days. I'm an oldschooler back in the days of building motors with Kenji when 190-200whp was considered movin' at 12.70's

Anyone on the street with over 250? Setups?

i asked this a while back, and the thread went to ****..

i thihnk this is a VERY subjective thread...because everyoen has a different meaning of "street car"

to me it's somethign that will run on pump 93 with NO additional additives
also one that doesn;t have to retard the timing just to drive around...that's bullshit
also, i believe it should be an engine that LAST...not one of these engines that needs rings at ever oil change

basically...watch HCI in the next couple months for my defintion of a street engine...my engine

here is my old street car del sol ... my new street car CRX ran 12.6 @111mph on street tires full street trim weighing in at 2300 lbs including 2" exh and bottomoed out spoon header.

Keep in mind all my "street cars" are cars I actually drive on the street alot, unlike many claimed street cars which are rarely driven in the street only built to match the street class rules but not necesarily driven on the street.

If anyone is in the NJ area and wants a ride in my street car, I'd be happy to oblige

the RLZ car does have a solid rear axle, but that falls COMPLETELY within the rules for the classes it's racing in...COMPLETELY. the hatch STILL ways more than any of the CRX's it's running against as well

are we talking about daily drivers or street CLASS cars??

i think to qualify as a daily driver...you should have to have a heater core, full interior, a full size fuel tank, etc...etc....etc...

Either. Most people won't hesitate to drive a street CLASS car on the weekends, etc... so I'm curious to hear about both "types" of setups...

Greg, 12.6 on street tires N/A is quite impressive!

Here's mine since everyone is posting actual. This car runs on pump gas and races on 105 oct. I dont know if it will handle heavy loads on 93 oct because i dont push it unless I have race gas. I have nothing to lighten this car. Its actually heavier because it has all Crx Si bumper beams since my crash.5the only thing missing on my car is the rear plastic behind the seats. I dont even run skinnies with my slicks(yet.lol) This time the car was tunned by Myself and my buddy steveL . so theres probably some more left in it if I can get it down to Steve saki. I will lower my vtec for etown this weekend as we never changed it on the dyno. I run full exhaust with functional cat.

thats getting a bit too personal IMO.. I dont see how telling the world about your engines capabilities is going to help you on a competitive level.. shrugs, i guess thats just me though..

I can safely say that the owner of the car isn't out for points standing or cash from racing. He just wants to see what the car is capable of, and what better place to do it than E-Town..

Its easy, I'm not competitive with anyone but myself. I have come to realize that I'm a engine builder in training , not a racecar driver. I'm in competition with my self to push the limits of what i build. I also like to help others as much as possible whenever I can, that's why I have nothing to hide. I'm going to run my car in Nh on may 1st to practice my driving, then let HybridKoop pilot it in etown where the money can be won. It's also helping him out by letting him pilot the meanes allmotor car he's driven to date... I cant wait to actually see my car run in person on the sidelines. It's fun to let other people drive my car, their face expressions are what makes it all worth it.
