My friend has a CAI for his 98 accord he doesnt want anymore and he wanted to give it to me, but i have a 95 accord (ex). Can i use that intake?

 

no, or else it would be made for 94-02, not 98-02

 

A short ram should but yea, I dunno about a CAI.

 

short ram being the one that doesnt go all the way to the bottom of the engine and stays above it? (sorry, im new to all this terminology though i know how all the systems work...)

 

sri ram would have the filter some where level to the battery of your accord.

the cai or cold air intake would go under the "hole"

 

k, thats wat i thought, his stays level and it is also the 4 cylinder model like mine, and though i havent been able to compare them side by side, i believe they look very similar, so if its the short ram u guys think it will work? also, since hes kinda jus givin this to me, wat would be the advantage of a full CAI ofver this one? thanks for ur help!

 

o, and are there any specific tools i need to install it? it looks real easy and straight-forward though...
