Default please help

i just swap in a fully built LS VTEC into my 91 si hatch and it died on me on the freeway at 65. it bogged down like i released the gas but it would bog down more when i gave it more gas. it backfires when i try to start it. some say its the fuel filter is clogged. number 2and 3 plugges are normal with fuel smell but 1 and 4 are not. anyone know wat is causing this. the motor has 1400 miles on her, built for drag racing.

Timing, set cams to zero. Check cap and rotor. Set distributor timing to stock. Whats fuel PSI?

Backfiring sounds like a timing issue.
