Default Under/oversteer + ride height ?

Hiya guys !

1st and for most, no, my car haven't been corner weighten yet. Later in the summer it will.

I just wanted to know if ride height front/rear could possibly affect under/oversteer.

If so, would a "higher" back increase oversteer a bit ?

Thanks for helping me to figure it out.

From my understanding. I higher front to back ratio will help with braking and turn in but will add push to your exit. The opposite is true for highter back to front and you should exhibit a shight oversteer.

Higher front = more understeer. Weight biases toward the rear (a bit).

Lower front = more oversteer. Weight biases toward the front (a bit).

To see it applied in real life, get your hands on a copy of Option2 video #31. They do a whole segment with an EG6 playing w/ weight bias and how it results in oversteer/understeer. It's pretty cool.

Kinda how I adjusted my setup. I just made small adjustments til I found a nice spot where it was pretty neutral. My girlfriend drives the car also and was never very good with oversteer(don't tell her I told you). I'm actualy very happy with the outcome. I have a very neutral handling car that I could let anyone drive and they would enjoy.

Although I got my best times and won my class more when it was setup to oversteer.

I've heard this called "rake", and raising the rear will help you fight understeer.

Maybe thats why the neons look jacked way up in the rear?
