One of my gsr knuckles is missing something sould I worry about it?
I just got a gsr brake swap and was looking them over the other day and I noticed that one of them is missing a shield or something and the other one is kinda bent and beat up.
Could some one tell me what this is for and if its really necessary or its just there for extra precaution.
Thanks
Its part #1 in the pic

anything that has to be "pressed in" can be put in by a mallet.. just make sure you provide equal pressure all over the ring.
