I'm just curious to know if it's easy to remove the inch and a half strip of metal/rubber that is at the top of the hatch window on a crx. Mine is pretty chipped up and I'm either going to repaint it or replace it.

 

it should just unclip. try prying gently on it with a small putty knife or other flat tool.

 

Ha thanks Steve, didn't know you still checked up on HT. I just got done painting my CRX and we're already mocking up the new turbo manifold

 

i posted this very same question days ago..somebody said he took off the interior peice directly under it and pushed the clips up and out..i havent tried it yet but it sounds easy enough..unless these clips break wish this were as easy as painting my wiper arms .

 

Anyone know for sure, I can't wait to go to the junkyard and try on another car besides my own.
