Very OT - I Just Paid 95 Cents a Gallon for Gas
I can't remember the last time I paid less than a buck a gallon.
Hey... I'll take it. Seems like it was over $1.50 just a few weeks ago.

No ****, I was thinking the same thing. Hell, I had probably tried pot by '81. Doh! Did I say that or think that!
Excuse me while I step outside and laugh really hard!
I filled up the truck last night at a Sunoco with 93 octane -- 1.37/gallon. 94 octane was 1.42. This is about the cheapest in the Alexandria/Arlington area, I think. You can travel a couple miles from this Sunoco and easily find 93 octane 15-20 cents more expensive. I love this area.

Gas at home is $1.24 for 93 octane!! Filled up the Camaro this morning. Karen
I *know* I remember 1981...
The next person that insinuates that 1981 was a very long time ago gets an e-kick in the ***!
let's see, here in the metropolitan Haymarket area, regular is around $1.07, with premium around $1.27. Nice improvement, especially since the wife's pathfinder takes 93 octane.
And in 1981, that was my first trip to the USA. I went to visit my dad in Texas. huh. And I saw Alien on TV at a motel, and it scared the living crap out of me - ok, I was 10. Heh, and I think gas was around $.90 a gallon back then, if my hazy memory serves (no, no pot yet back then
)

Man, I was in second grade in '81. That is sick. 20 years ago....
If you adjust for inflation, gas in '81 was about 1.5-2 times more than it is now. I love Georgia's cheap gas prices. Makes me laugh to think my parents are shelling out 1.60 in OH!

Huh? .99 for regular and 1.19 for premium in the suburbs of both Dayton and Cincinnati.

It was regular, for the Tundrallac (hmmmmm... Toyota V8).
93 octane was $1.15
BP in Austell at the East/West Connector Neo.
Let's see... in '81 I was in 7th grade. I was just starting to discover that girls, in fact, DO NOT have cooties.
Well... at least most of 'em don't
As far as the comment about Rice being in menopause in '81... WAAAYYYY OOFFFFF buddy. Rice is dead smack in the middle of "the change" right now.
