Can i switch out parts of the cluster? I have a si cluster...the gas and the temperature doesnt work. Can i buy a cx/dx cluster and switch out the gas/temp into my si cluster?

No.. the DX cluster is different since the temp is one side and fuel is on the other so the wiring on the cluster is different. you will have to get an SI cluster where the temp and fuel are on one unit

na.. I want to sell it as a whole unit.. dont want to part it ..

 

i had to get a new cluster also. as long as you stay within that year range you'll be ok.

 

if you get a vx cluster, it will work but your rpms will only go to 8grand, and redline will be at 6, so that might bug you.

 

Used a EX cluster in both my hatches ..Both were CX models

you can just remove the fuel/temp sensor from the cluster and replace it.. you dont need to swap the whole thing out..

how much do the fuel/temp runs for?

usually people only sell just the whole cluster.. I 'MIGHT" sell you just the fuel / temp if I dont sell my cluster.. unless you can find someone to buy just the cluster housing and the tach.. since my speedometer is semi broken.
