Default Installed Air/Fuel Gauge.. getting nothing from white wire..

is there a possibility that my o2 sensor went bad.. I noticed a while back that my o2 sensor wasn't even connected..i never saw a check engine light either.. maybe the bulb on my check engine light is out? But regardless my gauge isn't reading anything from the white wire.. what do you guys think?

you can check to see if your bulb is working on your check engine light by just turning the key all the way foward like you were about to start your car and the car should do its usual beep..beep..beep..and also your check engine light should light up until you start your car then it goes off unless there is somethin wrong

I'm guessing that the chipped Mugen spec ECU has disabled O2 sensor along with (speed/rev limiter, knock sensor etc)...If you can get a hold (borrow) a stock P28 hopefully it'll give you a code or something. Not sure how to test an O2 sensor with a tester or I guess you can also borrow another O2.

hrmm well i guess the only true way of getting it fixed is to get it dyno tuned now.. i also think i need to get my valves adjusted..

most likely a dead O2 sensor and or fualty wiring, bad gauge. try it on a different car.

ok well now it's somewhat working.. might be working fully but I don't know..

while accellerating it stays at rich.. while idling it's stoich.. but when i let off the gas it seems to go stoich->lean.. i thought the gauge was supposed to be bouncing back and forth.. I had to adjust my fuel pressure regulator to 30psi and my v-afc is taking making 10% off.. but after doing that i swear it sounds like a lot of valve pinging..especially when i shift gears.. any idea guys?? the compression should be 12.6:1 ctr pistons, skunk2 valvetrain(stage 1 cams) and rc 310cc injectors..

also one last thing.. i noticed on autometers website that they specify to tap into the wire above the connector.. is it really that necessary? as i didn't know and tapped in below the connector

Says to connect after the connector because the wire leading to the connector could be shelded wire, where as the wireing harness isn't.
