New b16, What size bore?
I just picked up another b16 block. It has stock sleeves in it, and I want to use those for my engine build up. I have the following parts:
Full race rods
acl main bearings
oem oil pump
fluidamper crank pulley (harmonic balancer)
all new seals
Stock gsr head
Venom intake manifold
CP pistons (size?)
My question is, what size pistons should I use? The current bore is not usable, it has some light scaring on it. Should I go with 81.5mm pistons? If I do, this won't make the cylinder walls too thin right? I wanna get my car ready as fast as possible, so if anyone knows of any good machine shops (that will bore it to the correct size and not screw it up) in the tri state area let me know.
