If someone knows the site that says what each wire is for an obd1 p28 ecu.. that'd help.

well, i took out my ecu to look at the mugen chip. When i put it back, a blue and red wire fell off. I didn't know where it went. When I turned the car on, i got a code 21. I couldn't find a blue and red wire in the graph. The colors kinda didn't match. But i did notice that the spot VTEC was empty. So i put the blue and red wire there. VTEC started to work again. So is it safe to assume that the colors may not be correct? I have a p28 in a 93 dx hatch with a b16a sirII.

Oh, where did that picture come from? website???

red/blue wire is knock sensor, it goes into d3 on the obd1 ecu plug (far right plug, top row of pins, second one from the left)

p28's don't look for a knock sensor though, so that doesnt make any sense.

vtec solenoid wire is yellow/green and goes to A4 (first plug, bottom row, 2nd one in from left)

I'm guesing either i'm color blind, or the wire colors i have don't match up because Vtec now works when i plugged it into the first plug, bottome row, 2nd one from the left. Go figure?
