Default oil leak help - reprise

i checked over the entire motor and did not find any fresh oil but i'm somehow losing about a quart/250 miles

so i've lost that much oil but there isn't a single drop in my garage parking spot. that means this oil only leaks when the car is running and/or moving.

i cleaned the entire top and bottom of the motor so i can look for evidence after i go for a drive. i did discover a bolt missing from the bottom flange of a black box on the bottom backside of the motor - pcv related. i put a new bolt in there - fingers are crossed. i think i removed the bolt when i put on the header (last year) or when i replaced the clutch (in february).

what are the most likely places for the motor to leak when turned on and under load?

Oil rings, piston rings.

Leak down/compression test will help.

i should mention it must be a leak. the car isn't putting out any smoke, compression is great, no oil on throttle body or plugs, it must be leaking. so where does the car leak when under load but not when parked?

valve seals/piston seals.. is it same consumption under heavy driving vs normal driving? its unlikely for anythin else other thna maybe headgakset to leak, and its nearly impossible not to notice external leaks from all other seals..
