Sorry but i have to disagree. Its 4 years i race with a twin cam motor in my car.
during the last two seasons,my motor output was 195 hp and 150 tq to the wheels.
the car has scene at least 200 passes per season.During this stretch,i removed my stock set-up twice(1990 integra disk and plate),to see if the car would improve,in my 60 foot times.no improvement, but 12 runs in with my bulley clutch, and the disc colapsed. The feramic disc shattered.the second time it broke, the stock disc was in but I was experimenting with a double diaphram, and it was the double diaphram that broke a spring tab.
I just thought I would share my experiences with you.In my mind, dont change a part until its causing a problem.(ie. slipping, breakage)
It would be different,if the car was nitrous equiped, then it would require an aftermarket part.

I have a new oem Honda clutch in my Civic. I have made about 50 passes on slicks and run low 12's with about 250whp and it does pretty good but it has times when it's barely holding on and the shifts are soft. I wouldn't upgrade till it slips but I would buy a clutch and have it ready for when it does.
Thanks to all for yours inputs.
Ok this is going to be mi first time on the track with slicks, i think that i am making some 200hp at the flywheel(honda civic ex 98 d16 with some mods)
At what rpm should i lauch?
