I can feel a slight amount of rocking when transitioning from no throttle to part throttle during low speed cruising. Its just a bit like a hesitation and you can feel the motor shift, though not very much.

What should I be looking for? Any common problems that cause this to occur?

I know i should check out the motor mounts. But what specific problems should i be looking for? Any other ideas to check out while I am looking for the problem area/s

 

Im having the same problems, same motor too, B18c.

My problem (might not be the same as yours) is i need new spark plugs and wires. I would suggest you look into those first. Just my .02

its time for a tune-up

 

check your rear mount. and all other mounts while you at it. defintely the 2 torque mounts are busted.

 

Any more info on checking the torque mounts?

also...what does a tuneup have to do with the engine rocking back and forth! lol

order some torue mounts from http://www.jimfab.com they are great hell knock yourself out and get a rear mount too just because i said so
