Default Nar Spec Header?

has anyone tried out the Nar Spec Header

I'm also looking for how low it hangs

I'm looking for any info on it, especially concerning power gains

it looks like a beautiful piece, but I need to see some data on it, to make sure I'm not screwing over my motor by buying one

here's a link to the site

http://www.nar-spec.com/12630/12920.html

let me know people

Nick

I think he has different headers. I am sure they work well. It's prolly best to see them in person coz it's hard to tell the thickness of the pipes and such for durability issues.

HT member NA gs-R 05 C has this header.

Here is a link to his post when he was going to sell the header: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=718763

You can find more detailed pics of the header and specs on this post.

once again, yes it's a beautiful piece

but the bottom line for me is power

is it there?

also, how low is this header going to hang on a B18?

Is it made out of a thinner metal then other comparable headers?

looks count, but numbers matter most

Dyno #'s will be up soon. What other headers do you want to see it tested against?

This header is made for the B18, and clearance is good. Pics will be posted later.

No, the metal is not thinner.

On the butt dyno, you feel a noticable difference.

If I remember correctly, the type one is 4-1. Ours is 4-2-1. big difference

the JDM ITR header would be a basic test but good test. Put it up against the bad boys liike AN-R, header-tech, DTR, SMS, Hytech, Bisomoto.

A few candidates that are already in consideration are JDM ITR header and header-tech.

Good stuff

If there are any So Cal locals out there who want to loan us the header to test, they are welcome. For any inquiries call 626-272-2547.

if you want to run a decent test you should do a search and check out the header test

run those headers, they're the most popular and best

Do these headers have the 1-2, 3-4 pairing? That seems to work very well.
