its been like a 3-4 days since ive gotten my jdm d15b in and tonight it started to make a noise. I cant exactly tell where its coming from but i know its coming from the left front of the car around the engine or a little left of it. THe noise dont occur unless im getting on it in 1,2,3 and no other gear and it dont do it if the clutch is in or in neutral with me reving on it, i know the explanation of it prob wont help any but can someone please help a little bit

 

cv joint of your axle. there is prolly a small tear in it. jack up your car and look around where the axle meets the wheel hub assebly. there should be a black boot looking thing on the axle. look for grease leaking out of it or sprayed everywhere under your car.

my cv joint started out like this. it only knocked in 1 - 3rd and only if i was gasing it, it's progressivly gotten worse. so bad that it knocks all the time.. oh well, maybe i'll get around to fixing it here soon.
