FAQ On Independent Throttle Bodies
After some major research over the past couple of nights, i have figured my ITB setup out. I am still stuck on some things though..
I will be using the Honda 929 and adapting my oem tps/map to it.
What has to be doen to the TPS for it to run?
And what has to be done to my MAP sensor for it to run and idle?
Vaccum Box? Dimensions? Im lost on this..? Brake Booster?
Throttle Cable?
Also, Ill have to run the ITB's on a completly stock p72 until i can drive it to my tuner and get the s200 put in... Do able?
CHIME in with any other helpful info...

Just use the TPS that comes with the CBR setup. It will work, but you'll need to reverse the signal wires. As far as vacuum for everything goes, you can buy a vacuum box from Golden Eagle that will work great. Just run a vacuum line from each runner into the box, then run a line out to the MAP, and another for the FPR. Use the big outlet from the box to run the brake booster.
In order not to throw a code, you'll need to leave the IACV plugged in, however the car will idle much worse. To correct this, you can fabricate an adapter plate that allows coolant to circulate in the IACV, this will solve the rough idle problem.
For the throttle cable, get a bracket for a D series and bolt it on. Then just adjust the cable however you see fit.
You should be able to run it with a P72. We're running a set with a stock P30, however I'm not sure about the exact tuning of the fuel curve and have to recommend a chipped P28, or go ahead and get the Hondata S200 before you install the ITB's.
