Default Out of Park...

Hi Guys...I just found out I can shift the gear lever (Is that what's it's called) from the park position without the car being started or the ignition key in the "run" position. Is this normal or not?

It's a '91 Ex.

TIA

Uh, you should only be able to do that if you jam your key in the release slot.

I am able to shift out of park without the key in the release slot. Maybe it's broken.
