Default New track times!!!

I went to the track last weekend and here is what i ran:

60'- 2.053
330- 5.645
1/8- 8.633
MPH- 82.98
1000- 11.208
1/4- 13.379
MPH- 104.44

This was done in a 5th gen prelude, set up includes: bone stock motor, greddy kit @ 10-11psi, hondata s200, open downpipe, and bfg g-force drag radials, all at roughly 6000 ft of altitude bandimere colorado.

MY question is are 12's possible with slicks? what size would fit on my 15x6.5 rim?
can you help slicksMH?

12's are possible with that mph. Yes, slicks will help. A 1.8 60' would get you really close

You should be able to break 12s with that set-up, just get some slicks.

hey not to jack the thread, but does anybody have some good info on what actually happens to your mph on slicks. I've heard some people say that you will lose mph if you use slicks, while others have said that you can gain mph?

Anybody got a good example of switching from street tires and then directly to slicks and seeing if the mph drops or accumulates.

Oh, to the original poster, definately enough to get into the 12's, very high 12's, but with a good 1.8 60' time, and if the rest of the run is butter, 12's are quite attainable. I've seen guys run 12.9@101's
