"This is a complete Mugen replacement non-programmable ECU. Mugen does not produce or sell ECU chips, stock ECUs with replacement chips, or programmable ECUs."

None of the above.
I have one sitting here but an exterior pic won't do you any good!

From King Motorsports website re: N1 ECU

I used to have one of them - they are not like any Honda ECU. They use an OBD1 harness though.

Plugs into a 97 w/o an adapter harness.

That is EXACTLY what I am looking to find out .. So the Mugen N1 is in fact an OBD1 ?? The situation is that I bought the harness from a friend who was using a Mugen N1 on his 2001 ITR and it worked fine.. However, when I installed the harness on my 2001 ITR with a JUN ECU (P73) I'm seeing several problems.. If the Mugen N1 is OBD1 that would make sense because the JUN P73 is OBD2a ..
