Default Tips on removing the climate control?

Is there anything I need to know? Do I just pull it out?

there are screws behind the hazard and defront bottons..also theres a cable connected

cable is located on the passenger side of the console, behind where the lighter is..

That shouldn't be a problem since I'm missing the whole ashtray and lighter console.

I get what you guys were saying now. How do you disconnect that cable which controls the temperature?

If you look under your dash on the passenger side you will see a cable connected to a metal post. Just pull the cable off the post and you should be fine.

why do you want to remove it? going add boost controler or a gauge or controler of some type?

Thanks for the pic. It was very helpful. Now do I pull the whole climate control out with the cable attached to it?

yes, the cable is attached to the cold/hot dial, its a real bitch to get the 3 pieces of that climate control apart to take the cable off of the climate control unit, just pull the cable out with it, take note of how the cable is routed through the center console for when you reinstall it, otherwise you may not be able to reach full hot or cold.
