Default crossing into the dark side

so yeah i drive a 240sx and have done so for quite a long time but recently i was givin an EF hatch. motor was shot and looked like **** but i learnd tolove it. i bought an engine for it (zc) and it was fun but even though i love my 240s there is something about this little guy. so now im getting a b16 for like a steal wich brings me to why im here now. i dont know **** about hondas im a nissan guy but yeah the ZC was childs play even though the ef was dual point injection that was no biggie but yeah this seems like a bigger task. it comes with the tranny harness and proper mounts. though it doesnt come with the vtec harness or ECU. so yeah first things first what else do i need???

thanks

:sigh:

So yeah um yeah there's this thing called search. Yeeaaahhh. It's not like this has "NEVER" been covered before.

Mounting kit?
Cable or Hydro trans?
Do you even have a B-Series trans?
ECU would be nice like a PR3 or PW0.
Harness can be modified, but you would want a 1G B16A harness.

You can probably get everything you need from HMO or a similar sight.

If this is your first forum ever remember this one rule....

"Search first, ask questions later..."

Oh its ok man this isn’t flaming

MR MILANO IS FLAMMING...it seems as though because he has no life with his 3000 and some odd post ***** of a count that he can pick on new people but that’s ok :D

Yeah actually I don’t really need much help. The engine was in a jdm crx before coming to the states and was put into my pal gonzos crx. He got in a wreck so im buying the engine. I have a ys-1 cable tranny that is coming with the engine. I have an ecu coming from skunk 2 and my pal has the drive shafts and the v-tec harness I need. So I have all the crap I think and if not I have a week to get it so it’s all good.

basically I just wanted to say hi im new and I like to drift my 240s but all my god damn friends that drive Hondas keep trying to make me get into Hondas and its starting to work and now I hate myself because I enjoy driving my slow *** ef.

and no **** suck this is not my first forum and i didnt know this forum had a search until after i posted. **** with how many restrictions newbs have on this godforsaken site im surprised i can even use it

Perhaps you could make your posts a little less vague and a little more coherent next time? You may get better results. In all honesty what forums don't have searches and do you think that a B-Series swap in a CRX has never been covered before nor are there companys out there selling the parts to make it work? Common sense would tell you yes.

It sounds like you got all of your parts together for the most part. You'll just need a mounting kid and someone who knows how to wire up the particular swap you are doing. If you thought "I" was flaming, you will have another thing coming if you stay around on this board for a while.

Good luck with the swap and good luck with your "drifting" efforts.
