? for people who have installed H&R springs, PLEASE HELP!
I am in the process of installing a H&R coilver kit... I got the rears on no problem but when i got to the front, I noticed on one side of my car the bushings were litterally ground down and black ruber scrapings were all over the top of the mount area.
I decided to start on that side for whatever reason... and as i took it apart i realized there were parts missing from the stock setup. Fine and dandy since I dont require them for the new install, but then as i went to mount the spring in the rubber base, it wont fit for the life of me. The rears were tight but went in right away. I cant force these in if my life depended on it.
As much as I would love to take the opther side apart and fond out if they are the same, I only have one jack to work with right now and i cant drop this side.
For all of you that have installed H&R race springs, how difficult was settling the springs in the rubber base? Is it possible thise base and top mount are off a different car?
The parts i am talking about are parts 8 and 10 in this diagram.
