Da Skunk2 springs yada yada rates? fit? just a couple questions
Well being a member for a long time now, you know I searched and searched, I found the metric to english conversion for spring rates and read up on a few personal sites.
Im still in the dark.
Ive got a set of 90-93 skunk2 springs I bought from nopi almost two years ago, since I have today and tomorrow off(I work in a dealership) I fig. id just take the rex in tomorrow and throw the springs on since I have nothing else to do and they are just collecting dust.
I already know they will fit, they are listed for the da's to drop around 2.25 up front 2.5 in the rear.
I know my drop wont be that low but Id like it to kinda look stock but have a stiffer rate with maybe a little less wheel gap. without calling Skunk2 though I have no idea what the springs rates are on these things.
This is how they read as on the spring.

It says that on all 4 springs too so its not like there is a different spring rate and besides visually seeing which ones go front and rear you cant tell what the spring rates are nor how much of a drop im expecting.
I fig. ill atleast get an inch of drop out of them maybe alittle more, I posted a similiar question almost two years ago but I didnt get much feedback.
Help would be very appreciated.

dont know about the spring rates thing, but i have them on my crx and love it. its a little too stiff too take dates on but for pleasure drivin its perfect. mine lowered all the way looks nice. id say its about a 1.5-1.75 inch drop. its the perfect height. now i can make it over speedbumps!
thats pretty much what I wanted to hear, you have 90-93 teg springs on your crx/civic and it lowered it that much? huh? thats cool kinda the drop I wanted to.
I want it to be stiff so I dont give a ****, just a small suspension upgrade until I can afford koni yellows and GC's

why do you want gc ove your skunk2s? damn near the same stiffness and skunk2s look sturdier a better made to me.
well Id really like coilover's someday but im not really saving nor spending any money on the crx right now Ive only had this one for about 3 months and I spent about 2g's the first month fixing it all up back to stock.
Ive got these springs so im just going to put them on. Id I had it my way Id get some Tein SS. but I dont have the money now.
GC's are nice cause I love Eibach springs and the ability to adjust them.
Take note, I dont have skunk2 coilovers= Ive just got skunk2 springs is that what you have? and for clarification are your's for a DA. cause thats what im really after finding out.
