accord not running right
I have a honda accord, its a good car but now it running on only 3 cylinders. I have check the injectors, and sparkplugs and their all good. The spark plug for the cylinder thats not working is always dry. what else could it be.
please help.
please help.
I'm assuming you verified there is spark to the missfiring cylinder. I would do a cylinder compression test and leakdown test to check the mechanical condition of the engine. How did you check the injectors?
i check the compression in all the cylinders earlier and their all good and there
was no leak. the way i had checked if the injector was i switched it, with one of
the good injectors from the other cylinders. The good injector that i had put in to
the #1 cylinder(non-working cylinder) didnt work after i put it there. but it was
working find in where it was before. i was wondering if it had something to do with electricity.

You've already narrowed it down to the circuit that fires the #1 injector. So you gotta find what's wrong with that. Got a DMM?
The injectors are all supposed to get 12v from the main relay all the time (with the key on). Check to see if that's OK. The ECU closes the ground side of the circuit to fire the injectors. You have to check continuity back to the ECU for that one.

Disconnect the injector and probe the connector with a volt meter (noid light works better) see if you are getting a signal from the ecu to ground the circuit with the engine running or cranking. a regular test light would work too if you connect each end to the injector harness. should see a blinking light as if the injector was firing.
