Honda Accord Transmission
I have a 1999 Honda Accord 4-cylinder Sedan. I am getting a diagnostic trouble code of P1739- "problem in 3rd clutch pressure switch" on the transmission. Has anyone had this problem before? Is the pressure switch difficult or expensive to replace? I have the service manual and I am hoping this is not a difficult replacement, any advice?
Nice car, that's also what I have ('99 Accord sedan), though I've got the manual transmission.
I believe that the automatic tranmission extension only applied to certain 2000 and 2001 models, here is a reference to it:

Besides talking to the dealer, talk to an independent transmission shop, see what they have to say about it. I hope it's nothing too serious!

Wiring needs to be replaced and - according to my local honda dealer - it costs around 200$ to fix. My 2000 honda accord lx, automatic tranny had the same problem (code p1739). Its a problem in 3rd clutch pressure switch. The gamble your making is; this code is a sign of overall transmission failure.
