Default can i use a 87 pg7 ecu?

i heard for some reason 87 pg7s cannot be used because of centrifical advanced? i just bought this ecu and the guy told me he was using it for his dohc zc

Assuming this is for an 88-91, you can only use 88-89 ecu's.

he was prolly using it on his brown top 87 d16a1 which ppl like to call zc's. Cant use it because on the 87's the distributors use that vacume advance shyte.

if you have 88-91 civic with a multiport conversion or if its an Si you can use it...they rev up to 7600. it wont work with dualpoint. And it will make you run a little bit more richer because the computer dumps more fuel because it was made for a dohc

ok 2 ppl say no, one guy says i can use it guess i'll find out when i plug it in


im dropping a single cam zc in my hatch and i'll guess i'll see if it will work when i plug it in, my hatch is a std so its got dual point im gonna try and use it when i drop the zc motor in

No you can't 87 uses vaccum advanced timing....

If you need a 88-89 PG7 I have one for sale....
