I have my jdm type r 5 lug coming in next week for my 2000 civic. everything is included in the package but the brake lines coming with it are cut. my quetion is do i have to buy type r brake lines or can i use my ex? the ex has only front disc brakes so i figure they wouldnt be long enough since the type r has both front and rear. also if i had to go type r is the russell stainless steel braided the way to go?

 

i dont remember if i reused my stock lines or not . just go buy 99-00 civic si stainless steel lines.

yes you do you can't use your stock setup and you should buy ones for a ITR or prelude vtec, or any honda/acura with the 11.1'rotor

 

99-00's will fit perfectly without having to be zip tied to the fork..... get the si ones
