Default Race prep

I was searching around for some ideas for any last bit of power I could pull out of my car before I race it next week. I recently tuned it up and its running pretty good. ok here is what I was thinking. I cleaned the fuel injectors so thats done. I was thinking of trying this nos stuff, I saw it at kragen and it says it ups the octane in the gas by like 3 or 4 points. I was also thinking of advancing my timing by a few degrees. Another idea was the take my ac compressor belt off to give the engine a less of a load. I was thinking having like 1/4 to 1/3 full of gas in the tank. So and opinions on my ideas, and any other ideas?

Move the IAT sensor to the intake piping and cap off the origional spot. That should help a bit. I got the idea from seeing on another message board.

Really, I've never heard of that before. I have a cold air intake so I dont know how easy it would be to do. Have people actually seen performance gains?

Yes because the IAT sensor is on the IM and heats up. So if you move the sensor to the piping which normally stays cool the sensor will sense cooler air and in turn giving you more fuel.

I've got some good ideas. Thanx everyone for your help but I'm still wondering about advancing the timing and using the octane booster. Has anyone used this stuff?

You could unbolt your exhaust from the axle back and free up some flow but it will be loud as hell.

I already have a good cat-back system on it right now. I think the exhaust is as good as it gets, with out taking it all off.
