which way is the es oval muffler suppose to face?

like the topic says which way is the es oval muffler suppose to face? i noticed that there is some words on one side of the muffler that says "es" something does anyone know which way its suppose to face?

since its a straight through either way is fine, or you can slant it out of a custom molded sideskirt like a drag or funnycar
