Re: si rims or 17's (starbury)
I got a 2000 Si, and i swapped the LS rims with my old Si rims. I'm waiting for the cash to paint the spokes mettalic black and keep the lip polished silver.
You should go with the Si rims over the 17's and if you have the chance check out the LS rims, they look good.

<----- I use 17's for daily driving.
Get what you want. The people on here think they're racing 24-7. If you're cruising around I say 17's, and for track use 15's are best. Sometimes you need to have a little bling.

Yeah, 17" volks are total rice...idiot. Not everything on the face of the earth is rice. There are many good looking 17" rims that are pretty light. Still not ideal for performance, but not nearly as bad as a 25 lb 17" wheel. Just be aware of what they weigh, and try not to get something too heavy. I have 15's on my hatch, but it is all a matter of taste. There are very tasteful 17's out there.

Re: (turboman)
why not 16's? i know they aren't any choices you posted but i think they are perfect for a civic. i have 17's on my si right now and think they are too big personally. that is why i chose volk le37t's in 16's.

Re: (MS14)
with as much as people ask for their "GOLD" Si rims. he could get 17" of he is a shopper he could get light weight 17" for the price of SI's. 16" is what I would recommend. But its your car. SI's are nice so are GSR Fat Fives also HXs Light and Azenis run in 14"
My opinion but its your car. MY friend but Tenzo 18" on and he likes them. Totally feel the fender gab. Too Big for me.
