Anything else to do when i remove PS belt?....
yes, i did a some searching.
and i'm getting mixed info about whether i should leave the fluid in, take the fluid out, etc. i also read a post about making some kind of weird modification to help the steering feel a bit better.
i guess my main concern is that i do not want to screw anything up to where it needs to be replaced eventually.
btw, i'm going to first try it tonight. i'm mainly doing it b/c i hear it makes the steering/feedback feel more RRRRRaw!

Just removing the belt doesn't require any further modification. The "mods" you're speaking of describe different processes once the decision is made to remove the system.

UPDATE:
just removed the PS belt and took her for a 30 minute spin. all i gotta say is i love it. it definetely feels more raw. i feel more in control during turns and more stable with braking. oh, and more throttle response and a bit more power in the whole rpm band.
of course, u-turns and parking lots will take some getting used to. my only main concern is if i have to quickly move if some FL senior jumped in front of me....but i think i'll have enough adrenaline pump at that moment that i'll be ok. and besides, when you're rolling it's not all that bad. also, if omeone else was to drive the caR, it would definetely take them by surprise...but so would the ProLite ACT flywheel. oh, what do i care?....i don't even let anyone else drive heR.
in a weird way, i feel more in control of the car and more planted.
overall, this is an awesome mod, freaking easy to do/re-install and i wish i did it earlier.
