Default Not as RICH anymore.

I have a Greddy Turbo kit, I've had it for about a month now and I just put on the type 31 intercooler. I notice that I'm not running as rich as I was before the intercooler. Before I was all Green on the A/F gauge. now I'm some green, some yellow. I'm running the same amount of boost that I was running before the intercooler, so I don't think it's due to more boost taking more fuel. Do you think I just need to get some injector cleaner or something? Or should I even be worrying about it? thanks in advance.

Trey

cooler air is more dense at the same pressure, so you've got more air in the cylinders, even at the same psi. more air means leaner.

maybe you should do a wide band dyno run and check out your a/f ratio. then you can tell us a little about how much power those greddy turbo kits make. i am curious.

I know my story may sound kinda weird but here it is. I had a problem where I was reading rich all the way to the last green bar. Then I checked my valve lash and found out there was hardly any gap in my springs!!!. So I adjusted it and now It reads just right. The only time when it hits rich is when the turbo kicks in.
