Default aem v2 and k20a

I was wondering if the aem V2 for a k20a3 would fit onto a k20a, thinking about motor swap in a year or so and i really don't feel like modding the k20a3 if i can't reuse the parts later. Input is appreciated, thanks.

My thought on this is no. The particular piece that needs to match is the throttle body, and I believe there is a size difference in the throttle bodies between a K20A3 and a K20A... but I could be talking out of my rear...

It should work since the adapter is flexible. Try it and then let us know. Who cares about a $200 intake anyway?

Send an IM to the moderator B18CXr and tell him to post in your thread. I know he'll know the answer.

I'm thinking the answer is probably yes, because I remember reading that there were two intake manifolds for the K20's, and they were interchangeable.

The dual-stage intake from the RSX will fit on the EP3 K20A3 if the motor's out of the car, so I'm thinking that an intake designed for the EP3 would work w/whatever K20 is in the car.

But...ask Jack to be sure.
